About Traffic-Checker & Methodology

Last Updated: May 28, 2026

Traffic-Checker is a premium, lightweight, and 100% free SEO utility suite designed to give website owners, developers, and digital marketers instant access to critical search intelligence, on-page diagnostics, and domain statistics without high subscription fees or invasive tracking.

Our Mission

Most SEO analysis platforms lock basic metrics behind paywalls or require complex API integrations. Traffic-Checker was created to democratize website audit tools. Our suite operates 100% locally on our servers, query-caching requests using database algorithms to deliver fast, secure, and reliable reports.

Technical Audit Methodology

1. Logarithmic Authority Score

We calculate a site's Authority Score on a logarithmic scale of 0 to 10. By integrating OpenPageRank database checks with indexing density limits, our algorithm maps root authority structures. If direct API channels are restricted, the score is mathematically estimated based on domain maturity and Google index ratios.

2. Indexed Pages Footprint

To estimate search presence without heavy crawling overhead, our backend performs native HTTP footprint checks. If Google rate-limits requests, an exponential fallback function computes a highly accurate indexing size scale relative to the domain's historical authority benchmarks.

3. Traffic & CPC Value Models

Organic traffic is estimated by distributing indexable pages against authority curves. Market value is computed using dynamic CPC multipliers across core commercial categories (Finance, Tech, Health, General) to model what acquiring that organic traffic would cost in Google Ads.

4. Local WHOIS & RDAP Queries

Domain age checking queries root registries directly via TCP Port 43 sockets using server-side stream loops. If the web host's firewall restricts outbound Port 43 packets, we automatically execute a secure HTTPS-based RDAP registry fallback to calculate age calculations reliably.

Our Data Privacy Promise

Traffic-Checker never retains copy or search inputs for tracking. All target checks are handled with standard server-side HTTP cURL requests. We employ caching databases strictly to reduce duplicate web load and optimize server performance.
